Roof Restoration Maroochydore, Buderim & Coolum

Our home patch. Beachfront salt at Alex and Mooloolaba, red-soil plateau homes on Buderim, 1990s estates at Mountain Creek and Sippy Downs, and the north coast strip from Twin Waters to Peregian.

Roofs in Maroochydore, Buderim & Coolum

The central coast is where most of our work is. Maroochydore, Alexandra Headland and Mooloolaba have a mix of 1970s and 80s tile roofs on the older streets and newer metal roofs on the units and rebuilds, all within a kilometre or two of the surf. Buderim, on its 180 metre plateau of red volcanic soil, has everything from Queenslanders under corrugated iron to 1990s brick-and-tile and modern homes, with plenty of shade and a wetter, cooler microclimate that grows moss on the south side of a tile roof. Mountain Creek and Sippy Downs were established in 1986 and 1993 respectively, so their first-generation concrete tile roofs are now at the 25 to 35 year mark where the colour has gone and the pointing has cracked.

North of the river, Bli Bli, Pacific Paradise, Twin Waters, Mudjimba, Marcoola and Coolum Beach run from canal and golf-course estates to beachfront streets, and Peregian Springs is a golf-course estate that was mostly built in the 2010s. Solar panels are on a large share of these roofs, and we remove and refit them as part of a restoration so the tiles underneath are cleaned and coated properly.

Questions

Roof restoration in Maroochydore, Buderim & Coolum: common questions

Do you cover all of Maroochydore, Buderim & Coolum?

Yes. We work across the whole of Maroochydore, Buderim & Coolum, from Maroochydore to Peregian Springs, and every suburb above has its own page with local detail. If yours is missing, send the address anyway; we cover the whole Sunshine Coast and Noosa Shire.

How much does a roof restoration cost in Maroochydore?

A published Sunshine Coast guide puts a tiled roof restoration at $3,875 to $10,650 (typical $6,300) and a metal roof at $2,900 to $5,800. Salt-front roofs sometimes need more metal replaced and hinterland roofs more cleaning, which we see on the satellite measure and confirm on site. Guide only; your quote is fixed after inspection.

How quickly can you quote?

Usually within a business day for the satellite estimate, then a site inspection within the week. Leaks and storm damage are prioritised. Send photos and the address to 0434 142 995 and we can often give a rough figure the same day.

Do you need building approval for restoration work here?

No. Restoration, repairs and painting are maintenance to an existing building, exempt under Schedule 1 of the Queensland Building Regulation 2021. Re-roofing more than 20 per cent of a roof needs approval, and body corporate townhouses may need the committee's sign-off on colour.
