How much does a roof restoration cost on the Sunshine Coast?
A published Sunshine Coast guide puts a tiled roof restoration between $3,875 and $10,650, with $6,300 typical for a single-storey home, and metal roofs between $2,900 and $5,800. Size, pitch, the amount of re-bedding and solar panels move the price. We estimate from satellite imagery first, then confirm on site.
How long does a restored roof last?
The coating systems we use carry manufacturer warranties of 10, 15 or 20 years depending on the product, Canstar quotes 15 to 20 years for a restoration, and our workmanship warranty is 10 years (terms apply). A wash every few years keeps salt and lichen off and extends it.
Is my roof a restoration or a replacement?
If the tiles are sound, restoration. If they crumble underfoot, the battens are rotten or you want to change materials, replacement. A re-roof is two to three times the price, so we always check the tiles first and tell you which it is.
