Roofs in Kuluin: what we see and what we do
Kuluin is a compact family suburb tucked between Maroochydore Road and the foot of Buderim, and it was built almost entirely in the 1980s and 90s. The typical home is a single-storey brick house on a level block with a concrete tile hip roof. That uniformity means the roofs are ageing together: most are 30 to 40 years old, the original colour has faded to grey, and the ridge mortar has cracked along the hips.
