Our story
A roofer's business, not a franchise
Seaspray Restos was started by Tyler Czebotar after 15 years in the roofing industry, first as a sole trader in 2022 and as Seaspray Restos Pty Ltd from 2024. The idea was simple: do roof restorations the way a roofer would want his own roof done. Proper cleaning, every broken tile replaced, every ridge re-pointed with flexible pointing, and a membrane system applied as the manufacturer specifies, not a quick spray over the top of the problems.
The business is based on the Sunshine Coast and works the whole of it, from Caloundra and Kawana through Maroochydore, Buderim and Coolum to Noosa, and up into the hinterland towns. Coastal conditions are the whole job here: salt corrosion within a kilometre of the surf, Queensland UV fading tile coatings in 15 to 25 years, and summer storms that find every cracked ridge. Every quote and every product choice is made with that in mind.
Tyler holds QBCC licence 15424815, the business carries public liability insurance, and every job over $3,300 is covered by the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme. We use Industrial Roof Coatings, an Australian-made membrane system from the Gold Coast, and back our workmanship with a 10-year warranty (terms apply).
How we work
Quote first, visit second
An estimate from satellite imagery within a day, then a site inspection to confirm it. You know the range before you commit to a visit.
Fix before we coat
No membrane goes over cracked pointing, broken tiles or lichen. The prep is where a restoration is won or lost.
Straight answers
If the roof needs replacing, we say so. If it only needs re-pointing, we say that too.
Leave it clean
Gutters cleared, overspray managed, the yard hosed down. Photos of the finished roof sent to you.
