What we do
Roof Repairs on the Sunshine Coast
Roof repairs on the Sunshine Coast come in waves: after every summer storm, after the first big westerly, and whenever a homeowner finally gets up a ladder and sees what the gutters have been collecting. The common jobs are cracked or slipped tiles, ridge caps that have lost their mortar, valley irons rusted through by salt, flashings pulled away from chimneys and walls, and the slow leak that has been staining a ceiling for a year.
We repair rather than replace wherever it makes sense. A dozen broken tiles, a re-bedded ridge and a new valley iron can add years to a roof that is otherwise sound. Where a roof has reached the point that repairs would be throwing money at it, we say so and quote a restoration instead. Every repair is done by our own crew, with edge protection set up as required by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, and covered by our workmanship warranty.
What's included
Broken and slipped tile replacement
Cracked, chipped and displaced tiles replaced with matching profiles, including hard-to-find discontinued tiles from our stock.
Leak detection and repair
We trace the leak to its source rather than sealing where the water shows. See leak repairs.
Ridge capping repairs
Lifted or cracked caps re-bedded and re-pointed. See re-pointing.
Valley iron and flashing replacement
Rusted valleys cut out and replaced, flashings resealed or renewed.
Storm and hail damage
Emergency make-safe, tarping if needed, then permanent repairs and the paperwork your insurer asks for.
Batten and sarking repairs
Rotten battens replaced and sarking renewed under lifted sections, as in our repair photos.

- Tiles visibly cracked, missing or sitting out of line from the ground
